Robotics 11EV3 EV3 - Hand Slapper Challenge

Submitted by Rajender Trivedi on 9 June, 2020 - 23:27
Overview:
This lesson is designed to use an engaging concept (a Hand Slapper) to help introduce advanced programming concepts to students. The unit goes through four levels of programming, each more complex than the last and then encourages students to create their own program. It is up to the individual teacher to decide how many levels to go through; they can tailor the unit in any way they see fit.
Objectives:

Students will be able to:

  1. work collaboratively to build a hand slapper

  2. program the slapper (following directions) using loops, variables, math blocks, random blocks and wires

  3. create and program their own version of the hand slapper
