Overview:
The goal of this lesson is to use of Math Blocks to manipulate variables in the Lego MINDSTORMS NXT-G program. Students will work through the "Calculations" video lesson on the "Advanced" page of the "NXT Video Trainer 2.0" product from Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Academy.
Objectives:
Students will be able to:
1. Describe the purpose of using Math Blocks
2. Explain the role of each parameter in a Math Block
3. Write an NXT-G program for a robot which uses a Math Block to modify a sensor value
4. Write an NXT-G program for a robot which uses a Math Block to modify values in Variable Blocks
