Overview:
The goal of this lesson is to explore the use the LEGO EV3 Infrared (IR) Sensor and Beacon. NOTE:: this sensor and beacon are not included with the EV3 Education kit, but they are included in the home version and available for sale separately).
Objectives:
Students will be able to:
1. Explain the different modes of operation for the IR sensor and beacon
2. Write an EV3-G program to use the IR beacon as a remote control
3. Write an EV3-G program to use the IR sensor to track the proximity and heading of the beacon
4. Explain the limitations of the IR sensor
