Overview:
The goal of this lesson to create a My Block that enables a color line follower to be controlled by distance traveled, and another by the color of a terminating line. Students will also practice creating a My Block with parameters (inputs and outputs).
Objectives:
Students will be able to:
- Explain the purpose of a My Block
- Explain how parameters make My Blocks more useful and EV3-G more efficient
- Create a My Block with parameters to control a color line follower over a specified distance
- Create a My Block with parameters to control a color line follower to stop at a specified color of terminating line
