Betzing - EHS - Robotics EV3 - Move Blocks and Ramping Up Power

Submitted by Patricia Betzing on 30 March, 2017 - 09:13
Overview:
The goal of this lesson is to compare and contrast different move block options for competition and explore a technique for ramping up power to avoid small erratic movements due to sudden acceleration.
Objectives:

Students will be able to:

1. Explain the different move block options for competition

2. Describe the advantages and disadvantages of various move block options

3. Write an EV3-G program to ramp up power to a move block to avoid jitter during sudden acceleration
