UAV Cinematography & Video Production

Submitted by Randy Steele on 21 November, 2018 - 14:01

The Primary Instructional Materials [1] for this lesson are Word docs that describe various UAV cinematography shots and techniques, and the Educator's Guide to WeVideo.

Any video editor may be used, but WeVideo is given an example of a capable, but low cost, video editing system for the classroom environment.

The Summative Assessments for this lesson are Word docs that have students practice UAV shots suitable for a fixed-camera UAV [2] (like the Tello) and UAV shots suitable for a movable-camera UAV [3] (like the Spark).  Students then incorporate these skills in short UAV Informative/Persuasive Video Projects [4] and a larger UAV StoryTelling Video Project: A Hero's Journey [5].
