STEMACADEMY Chrome Ev3 Robot Detects Object

Submitted by Randy Steele on 11 June, 2019 - 14:35
Objectives:

Attach one touch sensor to the front of your two wheel robot.

  1. Program the robot so that it drivers straight forward until it touches something. (Hint: Add a short axle to the front of the touch sensor to help it detect objects.)
  2. Then have the robot back up and turn 90 degrees.
  3. Then have the robot go forward until it touches something.
  4. Then have the robot back up and turn 90 degrees.
  5. Have this repeat in a loop.  Note: You can use the two large motor block, move-steering works better than move-tank for this exercise.
