DS Making a Bar Graph

Submitted by Darren Shaver on 27 July, 2019 - 10:14
Objectives:

Check the stop point and see if the motor always stops at the same point.

Learn how to collect the data and make a graph.

  • Record the difference between the start and stop in degrees in a table.
  • Make a bar graph showing the results of the 10 trials.

Create a second graph with a different power level.  Label the graph so we can understand the power level.

  • Can you add friction to the motor? How? __________
  • Will it affect the accuracy? __________
  • What are the three ways to control how a motor spins?
  1. __________
  2. __________
  3. __________
  • Which do you think is the most accurate? __________
  • Is there any Gear Slop in the motor? __________
  • What is Gear Slop? __________
