Lesson: UAV Technology Modeling with EV3
Overview:
This lesson uses the STEM Robotics 101 EV3 platform to demonstrate UAV aerodynamics and control systems by building and coding an EV3 model of UAV quadcopter.
Objectives:
Students will be able to:
- Build and program an EV3 model of a UAV quadcopter
- Demonstrate and explain the need for counter rotating propellers in a UAV quadcopter
- Demonstrate and explain the roll of sensors in stability and collision avoidance in a sUAS through an EV3 model of a UAV quadcopter
- Build and program an Bluetooth remote control for an EV3 model of a UAV quadcopter system
