Unit: Sights, Sounds and Gears
Overview:
This unit begins with lessons on using the light and sound sensors, based on the "NXT Video Trainer 2.0" product from Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Academy. Students then learn about gearing and calculating gear ratios. Finally, students are introduced to the Engineering Process and draw upon all their new learning to create Sound-Activated Robo-Dragsters.
