Lesson: EV3 - Proportional Line Follower & Wall Follower
Overview:
The goal of this lesson is introduce the concept of proportional control to a line follower and wall follower. Students will learn a smoother means of controlling a robot's line following and wall following behavior than the binary approach used so far.
Objectives:
Students will be able to:
- Describe different methods of line following
- Explain why proportional control provides smoother results than simple (binary) control
- Write EV3-G programs which use proportional control to smooth and speed the behavior of a line follower.
