Instruction Guide: EV3 - Reliability
This lesson has two resources.
The primary instructional materials are the PowerPoint/pdf files from EV3Lessons.
The PowerPoint (and pdf version) contains all the information needed for the lesson. The corresponding EV3 code includes the Coast & Reset technique.
Additional helpful tips are included the PowerPoint. Students should use both materials.
- The lesson describes a variety of problems that impact robot reliability and repeatability in competition
- Students should use the PowerPoint file and replicate the EV3 code.
- It is important that students read the comments.
Ensure students can explain the purpose and functionality of each technique and demonstrate the Coast and Reset technique.
Have students demonstrate the techniques on a large scale challenge.
