Lesson: EV3 - "Data Wires" Part 1
Overview:
The goal of this lesson is to explore the use of Data Wires, the equivalent of passing parameters in the Lego MINDSTORMS EV3-G program. Students will begin working through the "Data Wires" video lesson from the EV3 Trainer product from Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Academy.
Objectives:
Student will be able to:
1. Write an EV3-G program for a robot incorporating data wires
2. Write an EV3-G program for a robot incorporating the Random Block
3. Write an EV3-G program for a robot incorporating the Sensor Block
4. Control the response of a robot through the EV3-G Move Block with data wires from the Random and Sensor Blocks
5. Control the real-time response of a robot using data wires and Loop Blocks
6. Write an EV3-G program for real-time updating of EV3 Display using data wires and Loop Blocks
